Anand believes that there are opportunities for Canadian cannabis companies to provide industry know-how as new markets come online, but that Canada risks losing this advantage if the country falls behind policy trends and developments, such as advertising and branding. Cannabis Compliance believes that US de-prohibition or legalization of cannabis at the federal level with create huge compliance issues for existing companies and will drastically change how medical cannabis companies operate in the United States.
