To Wake 'n' Bake, Or To Not Wake 'n' Bake
That really is the question. For those who try to be productive and energetic in the morning to mid-day, do you choose to not smoke or choose to smoke specific strains only in order to make it happen?
I find that if I want to have an exhilarating day of working out, cleaning, and working, I kind of have to not get stoned. I like to hit my bong once or twice and then leave it in my bedroom so I'm not tempted to hit it again until hours later. This way I can get a little buzz going as well as I defeat the possibility of the classic hold-and-stare, which tends to last entire episodes of TV shows.
Unfortunately, if all I have are indicas or body-heavy hybrids, I really shouldn't wake and bake. It seems to start a strange chain reaction of waiting too long to eat breakfast, and then I'm keeling over from hunger, and then I'm not productive at all! Not because I'm stoned, but because I just forgot to do normal healthy human things that keep me physically comfortable.
Does anyone else have this double-edged sword of a problem? Love to smoke but I also love productivity! Thank goodness morning strains exist, just wish I could never run out!
I use the same thing for the most part ndica's or heavy hitting Hybrids It doesn't mean I don't enjoy the odd good sativa, but I do NOT smoke in my mornings I'm a night shift worker so I do not smoke at night before going to work because I operate power equipment so being stoned is a NO NO for me When I smoke is after work to help me sleep and to take away the stress of a bad day and to alleviate any pain that may incur because of my job I do work in a extremely large warehouse and it can be very stressful but smoking before work or in my morning causes to many issues for me so I just leave it alone till I'm done my working day.
Yea, we pretty much smoke all day here, but I don't find, personally, that it affects my productivity that much but one still has to moderate how much your smoking throughout the day to how much work you want to get done. Starting with sativa's and moving to more indica varieties in the evening generally helps.
I really love smoking after work too, it helps aching muscles a ton and I wouldn't trade that for the world. I know a fair amount of people working thirds who do smoke before, but they definitely do not operate heavy powerful equipment! Good looking on you for safety! I wish I could do that, but me on the other hand, I'm not sure if I could go a full eight, or ten, twelve, hours without smoking! But of course, I think I have too many ailments not to.
THIS^^ Hahahah, this is so hilarious. It is a Candian cannabis culture for sure.
Every day is wake and bake a day! It is the last thing I do, so of course, it is the first thing I do. I will say that I usually will only hit my bong once or twice in the morning and on a good day won't have to hit it again for hours. The first buzz of the day always lasts a lot longer for me, after that you're just recharging!
I don't usually smoke when getting up because in a few hours I have to go to work and driving heavy trucks stoned is not recommended People don't realize some Power trucks like forklifts can easily weigh over 10,000 lbs. and driving while stoned is a NO NO although I've seen it many times I wont take the chance of driving one while stoned Now on the weekends as in right now that's another story as right now I have a great buzz going all the while sipping on a Timmy's coffee :O The only way I could make it more Canadian is if I had a beavertail with my coffee and if I was wearing my Canada T shirt 😀
I can't believe I missed these replies! 420Hunter, you are completely right and hilarious! Waking and baking is something everyone should really do, a genuine Canadian cannabis culture, haha. I have been just hitting my bong once or twice in the morning and then tell myself I can't smoke anymore until I eat breakfast! A little trick I picked up from my sister, one of my life gurus. I find that if I just keep smoking the I completely forget to eat breakfast and then keel over in hunger! But sativas only, of course 😊
