If I am going to sit down and draw (or paint, or whatever I choose to do) then the obvious first step is to pack a bowl and to smoke it as I am staring a blank page. Smoking weed and doing art truly go hand in hand because of how stress-relieving and mind-jolting it can be!
When I am stressed, I cannot create a single thing. I prefer to sit on my couch and evaporate into my television until it's time for bed. The stress and anxiety make it hard to do much of anything! But when someone reminds me to smoke, that it will make me happier, I do and then I snap back into reality! I slowly become less anxious and more able to actually do or create things.
Smoking cannabis can also be a great muse to jump start my brain, giving me loads of ideas to work with. That, without weed, I probably wouldn't have had otherwise! And that doesn't mean that they are strange, high-on ideas, most of the time they are just ideas that I wouldn't have had if I was still stressed and wound up!

Nothing could be more true! For me, the same goes for a lot of things, I like to smoke pre-doing stuff in general! But for art, making art, this is definitely a must! It's like I get the munchies for creation, I love it so much. Only from sativas though, if I smoke an indica and then try to do something then I always get so distracted by other things
Note of advice: don't look online for inspiration if you're really stoned! I get way too into the scroll of beautiful images, and who needs that anyway? There is inspiration all around us!

The only time I look online at pictures for crafts or artsy inspiration is if I am stuck somewhere and bored because yeah, looking online while I'm trying to create something is incredibly distracting! I do have Pinterest boards for cute things I see, but I told myself that I am not allowed to look at it while I'm staring at a blank page! What I really like to do is go outside and look at what I like to call night-clouds. One of the most beautiful things in nature!
